Measures to support accessibility

We continually test the website content and features for WCAG 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549, as well as remediate any issues to ensure we meet or exceed the standards. More specifically we take the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Include accessibility as part of our mission statement

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies

  • Include people with disabilities when testing for user experience

  • Create a research panel with people with disabilities

  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff

  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices

  • Appoint an accessibility officer

Conformance Status

theUXProdigy uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the de facto industry global standard for web accessibility. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. This website conforms to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Nevertheless, we are in a continuous process of testing new content and functionality for WCAG 2.2 conformance. We apply our expertise in the remediation process as we try to ensure that this site meets or exceeds level AA. Most importantly, we try to involve users with disabilities from requirements gathering to maintenance of the website.
